OK....you've seen these in use, but it's been quite a while. There are 10 of em here, but you'd only have needed one...but you'd really really need that one. Almost nothing else would work.
They are used to open the lids on a wood stove. Looks like the ones Grandparents and several of the uncles and aunts used. Used to have one at the cabin too. Jerry
