Did the Ojibwe ever get paid?

I found these three clippings in issues of the  Pierz Journal and thought they were probably in succession, but they weren't.  The last one, ("Wm. Dailey..") was earliest, so talked about a puny payout as tho it was a big deal.  Annuities meant money gained by the government for tribal land sold when the tribe was 'removed' to a reservation.
Note that the huge amounts discussed in the long column became half of the original estimate by the time it was distributed...if it ever actually was.
