Looking online for Grandmas' brother Charlie was frustrating. (In the Sand family picture (scroll down), he's the boy on the right). From his WWI draft registration, we know he married a woman named Elizabeth who was born in Minnesota in 1892 and from this census we know that he and Elizabeth moved to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada, where his brother Joe and wife Antonia joined them about 1910:

The thing about Charlie is that he was the blacksheep of that family, according to Lena. Maybe he was mouthy or stubborn, but she said her dad was mean to Charlie, so he left home ASAP. They lost track of him, I think.
We have no idea if Charlie and Elizabeth had kids, or who Elizabeth was. Maybe someone in the family does?
