This branch of the Austrian Hesch family is descended from Johann Hesch and his wife Marya (Schlinz) Hesch, who came to America from Oberschlagles, Bohemia with three sons: Paul, Mathias, and Anton. +++Johann & Marya settled in Buffalo County, Wisconsin but moved to Pierz, Mn in about 1885. .+++Mathias settled in Waumandee, Wisconsin and moved to Pierz in 1911. +++Anton never married but farmed with his dad in Agram Township, where he died in 1911.+++And Paul, my great grandfather, settled five miles away, in Buckman, Minnesota. He died there in 1900.

Future Hesch History

We had a great time this weekend!  It seems like the activity was non- stop from Friday afternoon to Sunday, with all three of us talking and playing.  One of the kid directed activities was finding out how versatile spray bottles are.  First we were in the back yard, playing "fog" or "jet" with water.  Pretty soon tho, the focus became their mom's car and my pickup.  They both "NEED to be washed, right gramma?"
I think we refilled those bottles 150 times, either in the kitchen or downstairs bathroom.   We worked for hours...lol  
"SEE how shiny mom's car is?  Won't she be surprised?"
(No, you're right--I wouldn't have allowed J and E to do this...lol)
I needed a nap as soon as I got home, and then I slept soundly all night, too. Whew...
