I'm wondering if it wasn't Michael Karash, Uncle Leo's dad. THAT would make sense, but checking my tree, Mike Karash died in 1946. Any ideas on who he was?

BTW, to this point, we've had a 1,150 hits on the HESCH HISTORY blog, but VERY few comments...so here's a challenge:
If you're one of the first three people to actually leave a comment (click "COMMENT" at the end of the post you want to add to), I'll give you a copy of the Reunion video in August, ok? It'll have footage from the Golden Wedding plus many of the photos posted here, and a few NEW ones, so c'mon! COMMENT!
Oh, all right. I'm commenting. I love being a trendsetter!
ReplyDeleteAre you also going to give away something to play the video on?
Love - PT
I don't need a copy of the video but thought I would stop and say I am finding the blog very interesting. I am researching the SAND and JACQUEMAIN and KRANZ and KLIES families in the same area in MN for my son-in-law.
ReplyDeleteI have Nicholas Sand Sr born 1810 and wife Anna Kranz lived in Luxembourg, Germany and then also Nicholas Sand Jr born 1835 and wife Christine Jacquemain who lived near Barnesville MN. His daughter Anna Sand married Hubert Welle and they lived in Spring Hill in Stearns County MN
Anything familiar?
Thanks!
Kathy

Please reply to that one. Thanks!
Well, I never saw this challenge til now, so I am the third commenter, since the last two are the same person. I will look forward to receiving my copy of the reunion footage. How nice to win something! It is a little after the fact, but come on, Birdus.....
