HESCH HISTORY: A little more Pohlkamp

This branch of the Austrian Hesch family is descended from Johann Hesch and his wife Marya (Schlinz) Hesch, who came to America from Oberschlagles, Bohemia with three sons: Paul, Mathias, and Anton. +++Johann & Marya settled in Buffalo County, Wisconsin but moved to Pierz, Mn in about 1885. .+++Mathias settled in Waumandee, Wisconsin and moved to Pierz in 1911. +++Anton never married but farmed with his dad in Agram Township, where he died in 1911.+++And Paul, my great grandfather, settled five miles away, in Buckman, Minnesota. He died there in 1900.

A little more Pohlkamp

Doesn't that table look familiar? It's September, 1967. Beer bottles and cards on a hot fall evening--that's Lambert in the striped shirt, and Marie coming out the door. Maybe it's the staircase from upstairs, but from her stance, she just went to the fruit cellar to get a jar of pickles for midnight lunch. Whatdya think?

These are all pictures Julie Pohlkamp sent a couple years ago. I had intentions of IDing them before posting em. Ha. The pic below is her grandparents, Bill and Mary Pohlkamp.

Here's the family table again, but loaded with Pohlkamp kids. Some look familiar, but I don't know any names. This was 50+ years ago. I think. Do YOU recognize any of them? How about the couple below ?
